Bear Bear
Advancement Ceremony Arrangements:
Tom-tom, artificial fire, Cubmaster dressed as Akela ASST.
CUBMASTER: As a Cub Scout grows, he continues
to follow Akela's life. More of our Cub Scouts are following in Akela's
footsteps tonight. A
CUBMASTER: A little later, from the big kindly bear, Akela learned the
secret names of trees, the call of birds and the language of the air. Just
as Akela learned things that required a little more skill, so have the
following Cub Scouts and some Bear Cub Scouts have earned gold and silver
arrow points. (Cubmaster
calls names as Assistant Cubmaster hands out the awards and gives each boy
the Cub Scout handshake. |
